On December 3, Boynton High School English teacher Josh Frantz took 11 students on a field trip to West Valley College to tour the campus and meet Tommy Orange, the author of the Book “There, There.”
The students received a signed copy of the book and had the opportunity to interview Orange, who discussed his writing process and his background growing up in Oakland as an American Indian. Many of the students who attended said it was a memorable experience.
