Dear CUHSD Community,
As previously communicated, on December 1, the Board of Trustees approved a plan to expand in-person high school services in phases with the Spring semester beginning with online teaching and learning. To view the Superintendent’s recent recommendation and presentation to the board, click here.
As we continue to prepare for the possible expansion of in-person support and instruction in the future, the District is negotiating with the Campbell High School Teachers Association on topics that our current agreement does not address including:
- Possible adjustments to the spring schedule to accommodate expanded in-person options
- Health and safety procedures for in-person options
In order to keep the community informed on the progress of negotiations, we have created a page on the CUHSD website on the “Labor Management and Negotiations” webpage where we will house updates and current District proposals, which can be found by clicking here.
The District remains committed to finding solutions that respond to the complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic, while also addressing the learning loss and isolation our students are currently facing.

Como se comunicó anteriormente, el 1 de diciembre, la Junta Directiva aprobó un plan para expandir los servicios en persona de la escuela secundaria en fases con el semestre de primavera comenzando con la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en línea. Mientras continuamos preparando el proyecto de ampliación del apoyo y la educación presencial para el próximo semestre, el Distrito está negociando con la Campbell High School Teachers Association (Asociación de Maestros) aquellos temas que nuestro actual contrato no trata incluso:
- Posibles ajustes al horario de primavera para acomodar opciones expandidas en persona
- Procedimientos de salud y seguridad para opciones presenciales
A fin de mantener informada a la comunidad sobre el progreso de las negociaciones, hemos creado una página en el sitio web del CUHSD donde subiremos las actualizaciones y la actual propuesta del Distrito, que se puede visualizar haciendo clic aquí.
El Distrito continúa comprometido con encontrar soluciones para responder a las complejidades que plantea la pandemia de COVID-19 mientras que, a su vez, seguimos ocupándonos de las pérdidas de aprendizaje y el aislamiento que nuestros estudiantes están afrontando en estas circunstancias.
