Invitation for Application of Legally Qualified Citizen Candidates to be considered as a Board member on an interim basis for the vacated position previously held by Kalen Gallagher.
It is the intention of the Campbell Union High School District Board of Trustees to make a provisional appointment. A provisional appointment must be made within 60 days of the vacancy. The provisional appointment will be through the remainder of Trustee Almeida's 2020-2024 term. Any interested and qualified citizen could be considered for the provisional appointment.
The legal qualifications for the office of a member of the Board of Trustees consist of: Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, a citizen of the State, a registered voter, a resident of the District and specifically of Trustee Area 5, and must not be disqualified by the Constitution and laws of the State of California from holding a civil office.
Interested applicants are to complete and return to the Superintendent's Office at 3235 Union Avenue, San Jose, CA 95124, an application that is available beginning August 26, 2022, at the CUHSD Superintendent’s Office and on the District’s website (www.cuhsd.org) by 4:30 PM on September 9, 2022.
