The Del Mar High School International Baccalaureate (IB) Parent Organization hosted the second annual “Can It Be that IB is For Me?” event on December 6 to provide middle school families a deeper understanding of IB. The IB Programme is an internationally recognized diploma program which offers a rigorous, challenging and advanced academic curriculum, while it develops students into community leaders and global citizens. Currently, there are 278 Del Mar High School students taking IB courses.
With more than 90 parents and students in attendance, the event featured a panel of current IB diploma students who answered questions about workload, course content and time management.
