Congratulations to Branham High School’s Students Promoting Awareness of Recycling and the Environment (SPARE) club members, who were recognized at a recent San Jose City Council meeting for their landscaping and beautification work at Branham Park. The SPARE Club’s hard work at Branham Park is one example of how CUHSD students are making a difference in our community.
The Branham SPARE Club adopted the park in 2016 and every week SPARE members volunteer after school to work toward renovating the park.
Twice a month, SPARE hosts community beautification events and invites the neighborhood to help with the Native Garden Project and maintain five gardens representing different California regions.
