Educational Programs
Campbell Union High School District offers a variety of educational programs to support successful learning. These include:

- Dedicated programs to support identified learning needs (Special Education, ELL, GATE)
- Programs designed to help students further develop skills and learn content necessary to complete courses successfully
- Opportunities to repeat courses not completed successfully the first time
- Programs designed around actual work experience to reinforce the applications of school work, and prepare for the world beyond high school
AVID – AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a nonprofit college-readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in college.
Campbell Adult and Community Education (CACE) – Provides accredited learning opportunities in several locations.
College Advantage – Program provides opportunity for a senior to spend fourth year of high school at West Valley College taking college courses in Science, English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Science earning up to one year of college credits while completing high school graduation requirements.
English Language Learners – A support program for students who are not proficient in English.
Ethnic Studies - Ethnic studies courses encourage students to think critically. Starting with the class of 2030, California high school students must meet this requirement to graduate.
International Baccalaureate Program – A worldwide, comprehensive college preparatory program of high-quality curriculum and rigorous assessment that allows participants to earn college credits and/or advanced course placement.
Middle College – Program and courses that offers a junior or senior student with college potential the opportunity to complete their high school requirements on the campus of West Valley College
Naviance – Naviance Family Connection is the leading Internet-based student guidance system and tool in the United States that is designed to help all high school students prepare for life after high school - whether that means entering the workforce, or attending college (technical, 2-year, 4-year, public or private).
Special Education – Provides services for students with disabilitiesSummer School – An intervention program for students needing additional support
Vocational Education – Programs and courses that equip students with specific skills needed in trades and the work world
Dual Enrollment - Partnership between Campbell Union High School District and West Valley College in our Dual Enrollment Program
- Students earn both high school and college credit.
- Every 3-unit West Valley course gives 10 units of high school credit.
- Courses and units earned transfer to both West Valley College as well as other colleges and universities.
- Get a head start on college while earning high school credits.
- Makeup credits needed for high school graduation.
- Courses are part of a major, college general education, and/or electives.
- Courses and textbooks are free to students.
- Course offerings change each term.
