Superintendent Farber Announces Retirement

"I’m completing my fortieth year of working in the Campbell Union High School District, and I’ve decided it’s time to retire effective June 30, 2012.  My career in education has always been in CUHSD, and I couldn’t be prouder than I am today as I look back on all that we’ve accomplished during my tenure in the district. I know the memories of the years as teacher, dean, vice principal, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent will always be with me.  I have seen students, teachers and administrators grow and mature.  I have seen our school district grow and develop, I have seen our community support us through five successful elections.  To know that I played a small part in making CUHSD a great place to learn and to work gives me the greatest of pleasures, and I am thankful I was selected to work here so many years ago. I look forward to retirement and to having the time to pursue some personal interests and spending more time with my family. I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by the finest educators; people who are dedicated and experts in their fields.  I shall be forever grateful."
